Job summary

Fresh Consulting is seeking a Subcontract Administrator III in Merritt Island, FL to support New Product Integration. You will own cradle‑to‑grave procurement, including sourcing, quoting, negotiating, placing, and closing purchase orders and subcontracts for hardware and services.

In this role you will track open orders, embed within Integrated Product Teams, and manage supplier performance and corrective actions to ensure on‑time, quality results for aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience in aerospace.
• Cradle-to-grave procurement and IPT experience.

Position Details:

Role: Subcontract Administrator III

Location: Merritt Island, FL 32953

Contract Duration: 6 month contract to start. Possibility for extension

Role Overview:

In this role, you will support New Product Integration (NPI). You will own cradle-to-grave procurement including sourcing, quoting, negotiating, placing, and closing purchase orders and subcontracts for hardware, components, materials, and services. Key responsibilities include tracking open orders, embedding within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and managing supplier performance and corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience in the aerospace industry
• Proven cradle-to-grave procurement and IPT experience

Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card Holder (due to export control regulations).

Preferred:

• Experience with NPI in SCM, ERP proficiency (SAP, Oracle, or Costpoint), and knowledge of FAR/DFARS and aerospace supplier quality standards.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Range is $45-$55 per hour.
