Job summary

Fresh Consulting is seeking a Buyer II/Buyer III to lead indirect procurement at our West Melbourne, FL office on a 3-month contract with potential extension. The role focuses on COTS and IT hardware, including computing, networking, peripherals, and aerospace goods, working closely with IT and engineering on specs, security, and traceability.

You will manage RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, and auditing while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3–4 years procurement experience for Buyer II; 5+ years for Buyer III (indirect procurement preferred).
• Hands-on experience with COTS and IT hardware procurement; ERP systems SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end indirect procurement lifecycle including RFQs, RFPs, catalog buying, negotiation, supplier relationships, compliance, and auditing.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering on specifications, security, and aerospace traceability.
• Manage supplier relationships, compliance, and auditing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end indirect procurement across the full lifecycle, including RFQs, RFPs, catalog buying, negotiation, supplier relationships, compliance, and auditing.
• Focus on COTS, ET/IT hardware (computing, networking, peripherals, test equipment), and aerospace goods and services.
• Collaborate closely with IT and engineering teams on specifications, security, and aerospace traceability.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience Requirements:

• Buyer II: 3–4 years of procurement experience.
• Buyer III: 5+ years of procurement experience (indirect procurement preferred).
• Hands-on experience with COTS and IT hardware procurement.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.
• Knowledge of aerospace/defense quality standards or category management is a plus.

Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Range is $35-$55 per hour.
