Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet in San Jose, CA is seeking a Buyer to maintain purchasing database and handle non-key component buys.

The role requires a B.A. or equivalent and 1–2 years material experience, with English proficiency; Mandarin is a plus. This is full-time or temporary with 6 months probation and potential conversion.

You will liaise with suppliers, place POs, review quotations, manage shortages, and support Sourcing in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

• Negotiate price for assigned items or commodity
• PPV management
• ECO management
• Excess inventory management
• Cost reduction on materials

JOB FUNCTION

As a Buyer, you will be tasked with maintaining a purchasing database. You will be responsible for purchasing non-key component buys and assist on purchasing activities of key components.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION: B.A. or the equivalent

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1-2 years of material experience

LANGUAGE: English proficiency required, Mandarin is a plus
