Job summary

Ingrasys Technology USA, Inc is seeking a Buyer to maintain the purchasing database, manage non-key component purchases, and assist with purchasing activities for key components. This is an on-site role requiring physical presence at the facility in California.

The position covers quotations, bid reviews, PO placement, expediting/de-expediting, sourcing, and cost reduction efforts. English fluency is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of material experience or related work experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
• English proficiency required; Mandarin a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quotations and review bids for non-key components (C parts).
• PO placement, expedite and de-expedite material per changes of MRP schedules.
• Follow up on material shortage and take initiative on second sourcing.
• Lead time validation on material.
• Resolve invoicing issues and discrepant material problems.
• Negotiate price for assigned items or commodity.
• Excess inventory management.
• Cost reduction on materials.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives.

• Negotiate price for assigned items or commodity

Job Type: Contract toFull-time
Pay Rate: $29/hr - $33/hr
Work Location: temporarily San Jose, CA until move to new facility in Sunnyvale, CA in late 2026 (on-site daily)
