  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Poway, California.

Responsibilities

  • Review MRP requirements and create purchase orders through the ERP system.
  • Purchase raw materials, chemicals, tooling, packaging, equipment, and other manufacturing supplies.
  • Obtain quotes and negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Track purchase orders, supplier confirmations, and delivery commitments.
  • Expedite materials and resolve shortages that could affect production.
  • Maintain accurate pricing, lead-time, supplier, and purchase-order information.
  • Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
  • Identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.
  • Resolve invoice, receiving, pricing, and quantity discrepancies.
  • Assist with supplier evaluations and the development of alternative sources.
  • Consider tariffs, freight costs, and other supply-chain risks when making purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support changing production priorities.
  • Follow company purchasing procedures and applicable quality requirements.

  • Experience with international suppliers, freight, tariffs, and extended lead times
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, operations, or a related field
