Job summary

TVH is seeking a full-time PRD role in Olathe, KS to purchase products for an assigned commodity group with guidance from senior team members. You will learn and apply supply chain concepts and negotiation skills to identify cost savings and deliver fiscal benefit to TVH.

Your responsibilities include supplier management, procurement activities, and providing product insights to the category manager, with emphasis on quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Technical proficiency: Parts Data, Oracle, Excel.
• Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
• In-depth technical knowledge of the assigned product range.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supplier management: registration, evaluating opportunities, create & manage contracts, analyze and expand supplier portfolio and problem solving
• Purchase/PRD and procurement: search sellable items, compare sources, create product relations, BOMs negotiate, RFQ, create purchase requisitions and sample orders, maintain orders, reschedule, shipping and receiving
• Provide product and category insights to category manager
• Quality management: analyzing results of the samples and providing technical support (e.g. to sales)
• Maintain and update technical information
• May also include: role of global supplier/product responsible
