Job summary

TVH Parts Co. in Olathe, KS is seeking a Buyer for a full-time, hybrid role. You will purchase products for an assigned commodity group, register suppliers, evaluate opportunities, and manage contracts while driving cost savings under guidance from senior team members.

You will analyze supplier performance, handle RFQs, create requisitions, and maintain orders. The role requires strong negotiation, analytical skills, and knowledge of procurement and supply chain practices.

Responsibilities

• Supplier management: registration, evaluating opportunities, create & manage contracts, analyze and expand supplier portfolio and problem solving.
• Purchase/PRD and procurement: search sellable items, compare sources, create product relations, BOMs negotiate, RFQ, create purchase requisitions and sample orders, maintain orders, reschedule, shipping and receiving.
• Quality management: analyzing results of the samples and providing technical support (e.g. to sales).
• Maintain and update technical information.
• Role of global supplier/product responsible.
