Job summary

TVH Americas in Olathe, KS is seeking a Product Purchaser to source products for an assigned commodity group, manage orders, and support the sales team with technical information. You will learn supply chain concepts and negotiate to achieve fiscal benefits for TVH.

The role focuses on supplier registration and evaluation, creating purchase requisitions, maintaining product data, and potentially acting as global product/supplier lead.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical knowledge is required.
• Ability to read diagrams and drawings.
• Experience in product development and procurement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with Oracle and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and creating orders for an assigned commodity group.
• Evaluate opportunities and update information.
• Analyze sample results and provide technical support.
• Maintain lifecycle and category IDs; support sales with technical questions.
• Registration, evaluation and problem resolution of suppliers.
• Search for sellable items and create purchase requisitions.
• Create, change and review agreements.
• Maintain and update technical information.
• May also include taking on global product/supplier responsibilities.

Product Purchaser

Full-time | PRD | Location - Olathe, KS, 66022

Purchase products for an assigned commodity group with guidance from senior team members and management. Learn and apply understanding of supply chain concepts and negotiation skills to identify cost savings and ensure fiscal benefit to TVH. Want to be part of a global company ?

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You'll deliver short and long term projects that support the business strategy. This will involve:

• Product development: sourcing, creating orders, evaluating opportunities, updating information

• Quality management: analyzing results of the samples and providing technical support (e.g. to sales)

• Item management: maintaining lifecycle, creating relations, assigning category IDs and updating technical information, directly support sales if needed (technical questions)

• Supplier management: registration, evaluation and problem resolution

• Procurement support: searching for sellable items, creating purchase requisitations

• Agreement management: creation, changes and review

• Maintain and update technical information

• May also include: role of global product/supplier responsible
