Job summary

On-Board Services, Incorporated is seeking a procurement professional for a contract role in Indianapolis, hybrid work arrangement with two days in the office.

You will support and/or lead contract negotiations, manage sourcing of parts and supplier relationships, and work to meet cost targets while applying your procurement experience.

Qualifications include an associate or bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or higher degrees, and U.S. citizenship.

• Associate degree with 4+ years of operational, procurement or logistical experience.
• Bachelor's with 2+ year of operational, procurement or logistical experience.
• Master's degree, or JD/PhD.
• 6+ years of operational, procurement or logistical experience in lieu of a degree.
• U.S. Citizen required to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support and/or lead key contract negotiations, including completing costs analyses and negotiations on terms and conditions
• Managing work queue, including the sourcing of parts/services, raising and management of purchase documents
• Supplier operations and relationship management within commodity group
• Cost reduction / cost management to support the companies cost targets
• Support and/or lead development and execution of commodity strategies

Compensation: $35.00/hour

Hybrid Schedule two days in off.

6 Months with possible extension
