Job summary

On-Board Services is seeking a Manufacturing Operator in Wilmington, DE to support production activities on a full-time basis. You will prepare materials, monitor equipment, and help ensure GMP compliance and accurate documentation.

The role offers 8-hour shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) with benefits including 401K and medical, dental, and vision coverage. You must be able to lift up to 55 kg, stand or sit for extended periods, and follow health, safety and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• HS/AA degree or equivalent required.
• Ability to become forklift certified; on-site training available.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Familiar with SAP basic functions for raw material inventories.
• Attention to detail and good planning and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude to assemble/disassemble equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures and guidelines.
• Transport materials between buildings and stage raw materials for production.
• Prepare for production, weighing and staging raw material.
• Repackaging raw materials for resale.
• Operate the IBC and Blender Column Lifts and assemble/d charge blenders with powders and plastics.
• Discharge blenders into packages or IBCs and clean equipment using CIP.
• Operate sifters/screeners and other auxiliary equipment; complete GMP documentation.
• Perform daily/weekly housekeeping and checks; work with minimal direction.

About Us:

Position Details:

Position Type: Manufacturing Contract

Job Location: Wilmington, DE

Shift/Hours: 8 HR.shift, either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd

Compensation: $ 21/hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain compliance with all health, safety and environmental procedures and guidelines.
• Transport materials between Building 8165 & 8159, staging raw materials for upcoming production.
• Prepare for production, weighing and staging raw material
• Repackaging raw materials for resale
• Be able to perform all the manufacturing duties per the associated work instruction
• Operate the IBC and Blender Column Lifts
• Assemble blenders and charge the blenders with dry powders
• Charge the blenders with plasticizer
• Discharge the blenders into packages or IBCs
• Disassemble and clean the blenders, IBC's and miscellaneous tools using the Clean in Place system
• Operation of sifters/screeners,
• Operation of Fitz Mill and Frewitt Mill and other auxiliary equipment
• Operation of the dust collector.
• Package final product
• Complete all GMP documentation
• Perform daily and weekly housekeeping assignments
• Perform daily checks as necessary
• Work with minimal direction and guidance

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS/AA degree or equivalent
• Demonstrates good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Able to become Forklift certified, on-site training available.
• Able to perform the basic SAP functions looking up raw material inventories.
• Attentive to detail, good planning & organizational skills, and good use of independent time.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude to properly assemble and disassemble equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Lift 55 kgs (approx. 121lbs)
• Ability to work around strong magnets.
• Need to be able to wear a respirator, FIT Test Required.
• Stand/Sit for extended time.
