Job summary

ProMach is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to support procurement of materials and supplies for daily operations and production. You will create and manage purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers, and help ensure materials are available when needed, with active support to stockroom and BOM activities.

You will work closely with Materials Manager and cross-functional teams, handling ERP records, cycle counts, and inventory flow in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or bachelor's in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist purchasing activities: obtain quotes, create purchase orders, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Process and maintain purchasing records in the ERP system.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Support inventory management, receiving, stocking, and BOM processing with engineering.
• Assist stockroom operations and material flow as needed by business.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to support the procurement of materials and supplies needed for daily operations and production. This position is primarily responsible for creating and managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and helping ensure materials are available when needed. The Buyer will also assist with stockroom activities as needed, including cycle counting, processing engineering BOMs, and supporting inventory management and material flow throughout the facility.

Who are we looking for?

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Basic computer skills and experience with ERP, inventory, or purchasing systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with orders, inventory, and records. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with suppliers and internal teams. Ability to identify and resolve routine issues in a timely manner. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Forklift experience and knowledge of material handling practices are a plus.

Physical Requirements

Ability to regularly lift 10 pounds, occasionally lift 25 pounds, and rarely up to 50 pounds. This position involves working in an office and/or warehouse environment.
