VPB Management II LLC operates Vespera on Pismo Beach, a premier luxury resort on the central coast. We are seeking team members to assist with serving guests and supporting restaurant service to deliver an outstanding dining experience.

Compensation starts at $16.90/hour in California, with tips and service charges additional. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, PTO, retirement, and daily meals, along with flexible hours and opportunities to grow within a hospitality

Summary of Position

Responsible for assisting with serving guests food and beverage in the restaurant or food and beverage outlets.

Work Hours

• Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs.
• Scheduling includes holidays, nights, and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.

Job Responsibilities

• Assists the service staff in the service of food for the guest.
• Ensure service is more efficient and timely and to guarantee the best possible dining experience for the guest.
• Completes opening, closing and side work.
• Sets up food carts and stations for service.
• Communicates with and supports all staff to better serve the guests.
• Deliver food and beverage to guests in an accurate and timely manner.
• Expo build tickets on food and kitchen line.
• Monitor each guest's dining experience.
• Pre-set tables for dining and clear tables for next course.
• Be knowledgeable of all menu items with ingredients with relation to common dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a clean dining area at all times.
• Ensure all equipment is in operation order and all supplies are up to par.
• Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas.
• Follow 4 Keys service standards, standard operation procedures, and safety standards.
• Follow safety and security procedures.
• Work cohesively with co-workers and all departments as part of a team.
• Follow all appropriate policies and procedures while constantly striving to improve standards of operations.
• Adhere to attendance and reliability standards.
• Follow all additional duties as assigned by management.
