VPB Management II LLC is hiring for a food and beverage server at Vespera Resort on Pismo Beach. The role offers $16.90 per hour in California with tips and service charges potential, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

The successful candidate will greet guests, take orders, know menu details and dietary restrictions, maintain a clean dining area, and process payments accurately. This position requires teamwork and adherence to hotel service standards.

Qualifications

• Understand the hotel/food service mission and goals.
• Prioritize and work with limited supervision.
• Be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Speak and understand the workplace language(s).
• Excellent communication, follow up and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take food and beverage orders.
• Ensure order accuracy and substitutions.
• Know menu items and dietary considerations.
• Bus tables before/after service in assigned station.
• Maintain clean dining area at all times.
• Receive payments accurately and timely.
• Perform opening/closing and side work duties.
• Prepare food items for guests (appetizers, sides, desserts).
• Assist other servers with tables.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are up to par.
• Follow Marriott standards and 4 Keys service standards; work with a team.
