Job summary

The position requires the ability to read, understand simple instructions, and communicate effectively in English. A San Diego County Food Handlers card and RBS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or up to one-month related experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must obtain and maintain a current San Diego County Food Handlers card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collects reusable items or waste materials and disposes of waste properly.
• Inspects and sorts materials for disposal or recycling.
• Sets tables and provides water and refills as needed.
• Maintains clean service and restaurant areas.
• Anticipates guest needs and provides friendly, attentive service.
• Completes assigned side work and assists with room service when required.
