Job summary

Black Desert Resort is seeking a Fine Dining Food Runner to join our onsite team at the Black Desert Resort – Fine Dining Outlets. This full-time role supports a luxury dining service by delivering food accurately, presenting dishes well, and communicating with the kitchen and servers to ensure flawless execution.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food running, serving, or hospitality preferred.
• Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and presentation standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry multiple plates.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately according to ticket specifications.
• Ensure proper presentation and garnishing of dishes prior to delivery.
• Communicate clearly with kitchen staff and servers to ensure correct order execution.
• Describe dishes to guests when delivering food, including key ingredients and preparation details.
• Assist servers with table maintenance including clearing plates and resetting tables as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and expo areas.
• Support proper timing of courses and coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Assist in running food for multiple tables during peak service periods.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a professional and polished presence when interacting with guests.
• Support opening and closing duties including setup and breakdown of service areas.
• Uphold Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium hospitality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The Fine Dining Food Runner – Full-Time is responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner while supporting the service team in maintaining a smooth and efficient dining experience. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium service standards.

Pay Rate

$14.00/hour plus tips. This is the pay rate we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
