Job summary

Village Tavern Salem is seeking a motivated Busser/ Food Runner/ Barback with 1 year of experience to join our dining team. You will ensure stations and tables are set up properly and assist servers and managers with side duties.

You will expedite food, refill drinks, clear plates, and help maintain a clean, efficient dining area. In this role you’ll contribute to a friendly, fast-paced service environment and support the team to deliver a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform side duties as assigned by the Server and Managers.
• Expedite food from kitchen to guests tables in a timely and orderly fashion.
• Refill drinks to guests during the course of meal service.
• Remove plates from table upon meal completion.
• Clean, set and re-set tables continuously, assuming responsibility for station, tables and side duties.
• Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment.
