Soho House is hiring a Busser in New York to support runners, servers and management by cleaning and resetting tables, stocking needed items, and addressing guest needs to ensure a smooth and welcoming service. You will assist with dishwashing and keep the dining area tidy and well-stocked.

The role requires 1+ year of prior experience, flexibility to work weekends/holidays, and strong customer service and communication skills for a fast-paced club environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in similar role.
• Flexible schedule and open to weekends/holidays.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Detail oriented; multitask and perform well in fast-paced environments.
• Basic verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Detail all tables before service; neat place settings and candles.
• Set tables appropriately for breakfast, lunch, dinner or events.
• Stock stations with small plates, glassware, and silverware; keep bread warmer stocked.
• Maintain station; ensure bread and water on guest arrival; assist other sections.
• Clear tables between courses and reset for new guests.
• Polish silverware and store wash areas per local standards.
• Complete side work as required.
• Ensure cabinet and bar area stocks are full.
• Remove dirty linen and keep trash area clean.
