Soho House in New York is seeking a Busser who keeps a clean, organized dining room and supports servers and runners by clearing and resetting tables, stocking service ware, and communicating guest needs to the team.

The role emphasizes fast-paced service, attention to detail, and strong guest relations, with full-time hours, on-site work, and a benefits package including health care, retirement plan, and opportunities for development within Soho House.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in similar role.
• Flexible schedule and open to weekends/holidays.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Detail oriented and capable of multitasking in fast-paced environments.
• Basic verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Detail all tables before service and ensure neat place settings.
• Maintain appropriate table settings and china for all services.
• Stock stations with plates, glasses and silverware and keep bread warm.
• Ensure bread and water are delivered to guests and assist other sections as needed.
• Clear tables between courses and reset for new guests.
• Polish silverware and store utensils properly.
• Complete side work and prepare bar area before service.
• Ensure cabinet and bar area are stocked with glassware, silverware and plates.
• Remove dirty linen and empty trash from stations.
