Job summary

Desert 5 Spot in Washington DC is looking for a friendly Busser to support servers, keep the dining room spotless, and ensure tables are set and ready for guests. You will restock silverware and glassware, provide water service, and help maintain organization in a fast-paced, country-music themed venue.

Experience in a bar/restaurant environment is valued. Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months previous bar, restaurant, or hotel experience.
• Excellent listener and communicator.

Responsibilities

• Assist when asked with guest requests and when needed for server needs.
• Maintaining cleanliness by picking up debris or spills on the floor.
• Resets tables according to the floor plan.
• Restocking of the servers’ station with silverware, plate ware and glassware.
• Provides water service and maintenance.
• Marks tables corresponding to the server section you are assigned to.
