Responsibilities

• Set and clean dining room tables before, during and after service.
• Assist servers with miscellaneous tasks including bartenders support.
• Watering and clearing tables; move tables and chairs as needed.
• Open and close side work; attend pre-service briefing.
• Collect trash from dining rooms, bars and other areas after each serving period.
• Ensure ice bins and buckets are filled.

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Set and clean dining room tables before, during and after meal service; assist servers with miscellaneous tasks. Must be available weekends!

Job Tasks/Duties

• Watering tables
• Clearing tables
• Assisting Wait Staff & Bartenders
• Opening side work
• Closing side work
• Collects trash from all dining rooms, bars and other specified places after each serving period.
• Keeps ice bins and buckets filled.
• Attending pre-service training (line-up meeting).
• Moves tables, chairs, and re-sets as needed for the next member and guest diners.
• Performs other appropriate duties as assigned.

Pay

Anywhere from $10.70 to $13.00 an hour

Shifts

Typically, 4pm-close (WHCC does not have a closing time) Tuesday-Thursday & Sunday bussers shifts end around 9:30pm, Friday & Saturday shifts will end around 11pm. OUT TIMES CAN VARY DEPENDING ON EVENTS. Note: We are legally required to have 16 & 17 Year olds out by 11pm on School Nights.

Flexible Scheduling

Bussers will fill out an availability sheet and be able to mark off specific days & times and specify how many shifts they would like. No busser will receive more shifts than they are comfortable with.

Mandatory Holidays

New Years Eve, Easter (closed at night), Mother's Day (closed at night), Memorial Day, 4th of July, Member Guest Tournament, Labor Day, Children's Christmas Party (not on Christmas), Member's Christmas Ball (not on Christmas)

• You will not be scheduled on every single holiday, but availability is required due to high business levels.

Operational Days

Open Tuesday-Sunday (Mostly Closed on Mondays)

January-March only open Thursday-Sunday

Desired Education, Work Experience, & Skills

• Working towards or obtains a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior experience required but work experience in a dining environment preferred.
• Good physical stamina to keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly motivated with attention to detail.
• Basic customer service skills to interact with members & guests.
• Of legal age to work.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
