Job summary

Pacific Hospitality Group in Irvine, CA is seeking a dedicated dining room staff member to maintain a neat, safe environment and provide expeditious service with high quality. You will assist servers, read tickets, and deliver food to tables following company standards.

What You Will Accomplish

• Meticulously cleans and sets dining room tables and booths as directed.
• Continuously maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe, and comfortable environment for our guests.
• Maintains a constant flow of soiled dishes to the kitchen and clean supplies to the dining room.
• Completes pre, running, and post shift side-work requirements (i.e. rollups, condiments, etc.) as directed.
• Provides expeditious service to each guest without sacrificing quality. Ensure water glasses are full throughout the meal.
• Accurately communicates the daily menu offering if requested. May read tickets and deliver food to assigned table or section according to Company service standards.
• Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management. Notifies supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.

• Possess a basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, hotel service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
