Job summary

Night Rooster in Dallas is seeking a reliable busser to support a fine dining dining room led by top chefs. You will assist servers, polish silverware, reset tables, and maintain a pristine dining area to ensure a seamless guest experience.

The ideal candidate has prior fine dining busser experience, can lift up to 50 lbs, and works well in a team with a positive attitude. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required, along with strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service.
• Polish flatware and set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, and condiments.
• Clean, sanitize booths, chairs and tables; reset with linens and candles.
• Remove dirty dishes and trash; return items to kitchen for washing.
• Coordinate table availability and communicate with staff to turn tables efficiently.
• Serve water, coffee, soft drinks; refill as needed.
• Ensure dining room floors are clean and debris-free.
• Perform other duties as requested.

What we are looking for:

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service.
• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, accessories, and fold napkins properly.
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed.
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles.
• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with server, hostess, and management to ensure tables are turned efficiently.
• Serve water, coffee, soft drinks, and refilling when needed.
• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Ideal candidate:

• Prior busser experience in fine dining preferred.
• Candidate must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
• Candidate must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be a team player and have a positive attitude.
• Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, must be able to work weekends, and holidays.
• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills.
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all guests.
