Job summary

Workstream in Canonsburg, PA is seeking a friendly Busser to support the dining team. You will clear and reset tables between courses, handle used dishes, and help ensure fast, courteous service for guests.

Availability to work a mix of weekdays and weekends, with daytime and closing shifts, is expected. We offer benefits including health insurance, PTO, a 25% employee discount, and a 401(k) with employer match.

Responsibilities

• Bussers remove tableware between courses and clear and reset tables after guests leave.
• Bussers take used silverware, dishes, and glassware to their appropriate stations for washing and restock appropriate areas.
• Bussers respond to guest requests and communicate with the servers and hosts as needed to ensure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with others
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Restaurant experience not required

Physical Requirements

• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Scheduling

While specific scheduling needs may vary, in general applicants are expected to have availability to work a mix of both weekdays and weekends as well as a mix of daytime and closing (night) shift availability.
