Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Busperson for The Library at Park MGM in Las Vegas. You will maintain a refined dining room, storerooms, beverage stations, and service areas, ensuring cleanliness and stock standards to deliver impeccable guest experiences.

The role requires 21+ years of age and 1+ year of busperson experience in fine dining or upscale settings. Shifts include weekends and holidays; benefits include meals, parking, and health protections.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a Busperson in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment preferred.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers to ensure proper guest service.
• Polish flatware and set up tables with silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories.
• Fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas.
• Clear and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables, reset with linens and table items.
• Remove dirty dishes and linens to kitchen for washing and trash disposal.
• Coordinate table availability and communicate with Server, Hostess, and Management to turn tables efficiently.
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks and refill as needed.
• Maintain clean dining room floors free of debris.

THE JOB:

As a Busperson for The Library at Park MGM, you will maintain our intimate, book-lined dining room, storerooms, food pick-up areas, and beverage stations according to our highest cleanliness and stock standards. Working hand-in-hand with our team in this warm, sophisticated retreat, you will ensure a pristine and welcoming environment for our guests, owning the behind-the-scenes details to keep service flowing flawlessly in alignment with Park MGM's refined, non-smoking hospitality standards.

THE STARTING RATE:

$14.9611 Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
• Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
• Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently
• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
• Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 1+ Years of Prior relevant experience as a Busperson in a Fine Dining or similar Upscale restaurant environment preferred
