Regions Financial Corporation is seeking a Business Unit Compliance Function Manager who will oversee compliance reviews, advise on business decisions, and manage compliance associates. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in compliance and a strong understanding of regulatory environments. This position is currently remote but may require onsite presence in the future.

At Regions, the Business Unit Compliance Function Manager operates as a first, second, or third line of defense risk management expert that advises on business and/or product decisions. Associates at this level should have full ownership and be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for one or more large or complex products, processes, or regulations, contributing to process change and redesign in addition to developing business plans, policies, and procedures to support a particular line of business. This position may manage 1-2 analysts and typically reports directly to the Business Unit Compliance Group Manager, the Head of a Division or a specialized Group Manager over a line of business i.e. Credit Products, Commercial, etc.
Primary Responsibilities
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with project management methodologies
Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into application/operational recommendation(s)
Strong critical thinking skills with ability to evaluate alternatives and present solutions
Experience in BSA/AML, Fraud, and/or Quality Control related work
Experience in managing multiple tasks and projects
Ability to research and analyze data
This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to our Professional Office Building with the primary location being for Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, Nashville, TN, or Charlotte, NC. This position is currently remote but may be asked to come onsite or sit onsite in the future. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations. Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position, and relocation would be at your expense.
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan.
