Job summary

Regions is seeking a Business Systems Manager to develop, train, and supervise Business Systems Analysts supporting departmental systems. The role plans and executes projects, ensures policy compliance, and leads strategy for system implementations.

The candidate will collaborate with Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data teams to strengthen risk management, change control, and cyber security while delivering high-quality results from Regions’ Hoover, AL location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and eight (8) years of related work experience
• OR High School Diploma /GED and twelve (12) years of related work experience
• Two (2) years of leadership/managerial/supervisory experience
• Experience in a financial institution (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Plans, tests, and executes projects and supports day-to-day operations
• Ensures department meets all standards, company policies, and quality requirements
• Develops strategy and leads implementation for system(s)
• Works with Technology partners and line of businesses regarding processes and resolution of system issues
• Identifies, analyzes, and resolves user problems as they occur
• Oversees system enhancements and works with agencies to develop ongoing reporting and tools
• Partners across Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data (TODD) to ensure controls are designed, implemented, and monitored to strengthen risk management, compliance, and cyber security, effectively mitigating risk to levels within the company’s risk appetite
• Ensures disciplined change management by evaluating risk and control impacts when designing or implementing changes to processes, systems, products, and/or services
