Jem Accessories is building modern data systems to support better decision-making across finance, operations, and the business. As a Business Systems Data Analyst (onsite in Woodbridge, NJ), you will help lead ERP migration work, improve internal tools, and automate workflows so reporting stays accurate and current. You will turn operational and financial data into actionable views that support investment, pricing, and cost decisions.
What you’ll do
- Learn how our data is structured in Sage (items, costs, orders, inventory, customers, and financials) and how those pieces connect
- Support the migration to NetSuite by mapping data between systems, cleaning it, and validating results after the move
- Document data definitions and business rules so teams work from the same numbers
- Analyze performance across business entities and sales channels, including B2B wholesale and ecommerce
- Build profitability views by entity, channel, customer, and product, including revenue, cost of goods, margin, and key cost drivers
- Partner with finance to reconcile operational data to the books and explain variances
- Convert financial results into clear insights that help leadership decide where to invest, adjust pricing, or cut costs
- Map end-to-end order flow, from EDI purchase orders received through TrueCommerce through fulfillment, shipment, and invoicing
- Track warehouse inventory flows (receipts, transfers, on-hand balances, and shipments) and identify issues early
- Build reporting to show where orders and inventory stand and flag delays, gaps, or mismatches
- Create automated data feeds into Microsoft SQL Server to reduce manual exports and keep reporting up to date
- Set up data quality checks to keep numbers consistent across systems and support internal tools and automated workflows
- Collaborate with finance, operations, supply chain, sales, product development, and sourcing to translate questions into reliable data
- Learn the business behind the data, including product development and costing, order fulfillment, and how each channel makes money
