Job description

The Business Systems Analyst provides internal customer support across multiple information systems that power business operations. This role requires a highly adaptable individual who can learn new technologies quickly, understand business processes end-to-end, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement. The analyst will support the ERP/Financial system, CRM system, reporting tools, and related sub-systems while ensuring accuracy, completeness, and strong communication across departments.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking “Safety First”.
• For all on -site positions, must show up to work to perform job duties.
• Provide end-user support for system functionality and best practices while maintaining data and database integrity across ERP (Expandable), CRM (Salesforce), Crystal Reports, and related systems.
• Manage and maintain user accounts in business systems, ensuring proper access, security, and documentation.
• Create, analyze, and interpret data and reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Consult with internal customers to gather requirements, understand workflows, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
• Evaluate how system changes or user requests impact upstream and downstream processes, integrations, and data flow.
• Liaise with IT and external support partners as needed to resolve system issues and support business operations.
• Assist with user training, documentation, and development of training materials in clear and accessible formats.
• Support functional testing for new implementations, upgrades, and system changes.
• Demonstrate initiative by identifying improvement opportunities and taking ownership of assigned tasks and outcomes.
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams, building strong collaborative relationships across departments.
• Get along with others, not creating a hostile work environment.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and 41+ pounds as a two-person lift.

• Knowledge of SQL (Preferred)
• Working knowledge of ERP, CRM, financial and manufacturing systems. (preferred)
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, or analytics using Crystal Reports or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Domo, Tableau) (Preferred)
• Experience with data mapping, validation, and transformation as part of system migrations or integrations. (Preferred)
• Understanding of core business processes. (Preferred)

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
