Ladders is seeking a Business Systems/Application Support Analyst to join a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role provides hands-on support for critical business processes, with a strong focus on trade, legal, reporting, and controls, partnering with internal stakeholders and vendor support to resolve issues and drive upgrades.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst role.
• Experience with SAFe/Agile, IDPS, EVMS, and Lean methodologies.
• Familiar with Agile and Waterfall approaches.
• Strong personal organization for timely task completion.
• Ability to travel for PI Planning events and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in the OCR application and collaborate with vendor support and subject matter experts.
• Provide ad hoc support to Global Trade and Legal partners on reporting and controls.
• Support monthly application upgrades and quarterly server/database updates.
• Track and coordinate internal requests, ensuring timely completion and documentation.
• Document concerns or enhancement requests, including business process mappings and user stories.
• Work independently and collaboratively to define concepts and requirements.
• Manage stakeholder expectations by prioritizing requirements and coordinating follow-through.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Business Systems/Application Support Analyst to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will provide hands-on application and systems support for critical business processes, with a strong focus on trade, legal, reporting, and controls-related needs. The analyst will partner with internal stakeholders and external vendor support to resolve issues, support upgrades, and improve process documentation and requirements definition. Success in this position will require strong coordination skills, comfort working across business and technical teams, and the ability to balance multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $107,500 - $204,500 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop expertise in the OCR application and its modules while collaborating with vendor support and subject matter experts
• Provide ad hoc support to Global Trade and Legal partners on reporting and controls
• Support monthly application upgrades and quarterly server/database updates
• Track and coordinate internal requests, ensuring timely completion and documentation
• Document concerns or enhancement requests, including business process mappings and user stories
• Work independently and collaboratively to define concepts and requirements
• Manage stakeholder expectations by prioritizing requirements and coordinating follow-through

Qualifications

• University degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a STEM-related field, or equivalent experience with 8 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience
• Experience with SAFe/Agile, IDPS, EVMS, and Lean methodologies, with familiarity in Agile and Waterfall approaches
• 4-6 years in a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst role
• Strong personal organization skills for timely task completion and quick response to information requests
• Ability to travel for PI Planning events and workshops
