Job summary

Symetra Financial Corporation is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to help deliver business value by configuring and enhancing technology solutions that support operational needs. Qualifications

  • 2+ years of business systems analysis experience.
  • Experience with FINEOS or similar configurable platforms.
  • Experience in group benefits insurance and SmartComm preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain business applications, including workflows, business rules, forms, user interfaces, and data elements.
  • Analyze business needs and support the design, testing, and implementation of system enhancements and process improvements.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including business requirements, system specifications, and process flows.
  • Collaborate with business and technology partners to troubleshoot issues, identify solutions, and improve system performance.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, design reviews, testing activities, and implementation planning.
  • Coordinate system changes across multiple environments and support production deployments.
  • Develop and execute test plans, validate system changes, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Provide production support, resolve application issues, and assist users with system functionality.
  • Support reporting, data management, and ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Contribute to project initiatives and continuous improvement activities that enhance business operations.
