Role Overview

The Business Systems Analyst II serves as a bridge between business operations and technology teams, focusing on optimizing systems that support core business processes. The incumbent is responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving operational systems to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business goals. This role combines business process expertise with technical knowledge to support system implementations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance. The Analyst will have a role in supporting and working on medium to large‑scale projects, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver solutions that enhance operational performance. This role will support our current operations in Lakeland, FL, East Hanover, NJ and Lockhart, TX.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities
  • Provides technical support—identifying, investigating, and resolving users’ problems with computer software and hardware—for problems specific to the organization’s computer networks and systems. For example: WMS or internal payroll clock in / out system.
  • Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems.
  • Collaborates cross functionally to research and resolve problems.
  • Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.
  • Must effectively engage with Operations and Clients to gather and translate business requirements into well‑defined user stories (documentation).
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business units and external customers to gather and document requirements for supply chain systems.
  • Implementation Support: Assist in deploying new systems or upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between IT, operations, and business units to ensure smooth communication and delivery.
  • Works with third party vendors at the direction of the Sr Director of Technology Services.
  • Testing & Validation: Develop test scripts with a clear understanding of expected outcomes. Conduct system testing, validate configurations, and ensure compliance with business requirements.
  • Training & Documentation: Provide user training and create documentation for processes and system usage.
  • Must have a solid understanding of the system, including set up and configuration, the PDC backend.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Position
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience
  • Able to write SQLs in Snowflake to look up specific data when necessary
  • Must have Blue Yonder experience
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer‑sponsored visa support.

  • Ability to relate and explain cross functionally to internal and external customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Superior understanding of computer and networking hardware and software systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn a broad array of supply chain systems.
  • Able to work in short timeframe and under pressure.

Work Requirements
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Typical workweeks standard 40 hours with some overtime.
  • Travel to other company locations as needed estimated between 25% – 35%.
  • May be required to support our operations after hours and on weekends.
Physical Work Environment
  • Ability to work in a temperature below 30 degrees for extended periods of time.
  • Prolonged period working in a warehouse environment.
  • Walking for up to four hours a day.
