Job summary

HorseShoe Beverage Company in Arizona is seeking a skilled IT applications support professional to monitor, optimize, and train staff on clinical and business systems. This non-exempt, full-time role requires a 4-year degree and strong project management basics to partner with executives and vendors.

You'll analyze processes, develop training curricula, and deliver performance-enhancing solutions across departments.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience as an application software support required, healthcare preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, RN, Business, or Information Systems related fields; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes current business processes and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Works with clients to understand needs and requirements.
  • Supports Helpdesk operations by facilitating resolution of service requests.
  • Creates and presents reports to IT management and department stakeholders.
  • Implements projects from inception to completion.
  • Uses a variety of data analysis and organizational tools to uncover insights on systems productivity.
  • Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gather needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis to align technology with the business strategies.
  • Elicits stakeholder feedback and input through interviews and surveys.
  • Drafts action plans and leads recurring status meetings with business stakeholders and department leaders to review project status and proposed changes.
  • Review business applications and advise stakeholders on process efficiency and improvement.
  • Develop, implement, and/or evaluate new and existing training programs.
  • Provides specialized training for department staff, develops curriculum and provide basic orientation training; maintains training records of employee participation.
  • Collaborates with application vendors and IT management to develop curriculum and training for all clinical staff.
  • Creates and maintains documentation of all training presented and ensure compliance with training requirements.
  • Works with IT management and clinical staff to evaluate and implement new and existing healthcare applications.
  • Communicates with diverse audiences to provide information and clarification regarding applications and systems.
  • Identifies and resolves application problems to provide continuous business and clinical systems operation.
  • Creates, processes and prepares reports of findings and recommendations for organizational process changes for management, support services, and regulatory agencies.
  • Participates in providing 24-hour per day 7-day per week support to the Healthcare Corporation, including on-call rotations and extended workday hours.

Monitors and recommends improvements to the organization’s software, hardware, and business systems; performs complex administrative work in planning, developing, coordinating, and implementing training programs and services to systems users. Works closely with executive team members to understand business and client requirements and implement processes to meet those needs. Assists with improving the current operations and procedures of the organization.
