This position involves working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The role requires independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a varied workload. The Technician provides essential support services to the client office, ensuring accurate, safe, and timely shipping and receiving operations. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and demonstrate strong organizational and team-player skills. **What your day-to-day will look like:*** Prepare required shipping documents for dangerous goods, diagnostic, and research samples* Handle limited quantities and exceptions for hazmat shipping and dangerous goods* Perform shipping and receiving duties, selecting the most appropriate mode of transportation for shipments* Drive a box truck and cargo truck (roughly 15–20% of the time) for deliveries, at least 3x daily* Deliver packages in a timely fashion to appropriate end users, obtaining signature for receipt* Safely move goods packed on pallets, crates, furniture, machinery, or equipment around the facility, ensuring loads are secure and properly stacked* Comply with safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and respond effectively to emergencies **Required Qualifications:** * High school graduate or equivalent* Valid driver's license and completion of appropriate vehicle-specific training where applicable* Strict adherence to federal, state, and local regulations* Ability to lift 60 lbs. repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as bending and moving safely* Ability to multitask, maintain professionalism under stressful situations, and manage work with minimal supervision **Preferred Qualifications:** * At least one year of experience in the Bio-Pharma or Pharmaceutical industry, or similar industry* 5+ years of Hazardous Materials shipping experience* 3+ years of relevant experience as a forklift operator* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills* Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment* Ability to detect emergency alarms (auditory and/or visual) **Location:** Onsite **Work Shift:** Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
