Georgia Southern University is seeking a Business Services Manager for Enrollment, Marketing and Student Success to provide management, facilitation, and financial oversight of all departmental operations, budgets, reporting, and purchasing.

In this exempt, monthly-paid role, you will drive operational excellence, develop annual budgets, oversee contracts, and serve as a liaison across departments to support the university's mission and student success initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Three or more years of related work experience are required.
  • Master's Degree is preferred.
  • Five or more years of related work experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as integral leader toward the success of the Division by driving operational excellence.
  • Identify problems and change requirements relating to business processes.
  • Analyze financial documents and data to assess accuracy and integrity.
  • Facilitate the development of annual budgets.
  • Coordinate and oversee annual activities (e.g., inventory and contract renewal).
  • Manage department budgets, including tracking expenditures and reporting.

Job Summary

The Business Services Manager for Enrollment, Marketing andStudent Success provides management, facilitation, and financialoversight of all departmental business operations, transactions,budget processes, financial reporting, and purchasing of assignedareas.

Responsibilities
  • Act as integral leader toward the success of the Division bydriving operational excellence
  • Adeptness in identifying problems and changing requirementsrelating to business processes
  • Analyze financial documents and data to assess the accuracy andintegrity of the data
  • Facilitate the development of annual budget(s)
  • Coordinate and oversee annual activities (ex: inventory andcontract renewal process)
  • Manage department(s) budget(s), including tracking expendituresand providing reports/analysis
  • Oversee all department(s) purchasing processes in compliancewith State and University policy
  • Serve as liaison with various departments across theUniversity
Required Qualifications
