Job summary

Talladega College invites applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Business department. Responsibilities

• Teach 15 credits per semester in business and related courses across on-ground, hybrid, and online modalities.
• Assist in coordination of courses within the discipline, including syllabus templates, instructor guides, textbook selection, and course policies.
• Maintain current knowledge of the discipline and educational practices through ongoing professional development.
• Monitor student progress to ensure achievement of course and program outcomes.
• Participate in curriculum development and assessment initiatives to increase student success.
• Engage in advising, staff development, and participation in college and department governance.
• Confer with students through weekly office hours and provide tutoring or mentoring as needed.
• Participate in shared governance and collaborative campus initiatives.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
