Job summary

Xyant Technology, Inc. seeks a Business Process Consultant for a 12-month W2 contract, hybrid in Oklahoma City (3–4 days in office). You will analyze processes, map current and future states, and apply Lean Six Sigma to find improvement opportunities.

The role requires collaboration with stakeholders and delivery of clear SOPs and reports. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in business analysis and experience with process improvement, project management, and data-driven reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of business analyst experience.
• Experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, or related field.
• Lean Six Sigma training or certification is preferred.
• MBA or MHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business process analysis through stakeholder interviews, workflow reviews, data analysis, and other assessment methods.
• Develop and maintain current state and future state process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and quality improvement methodologies to identify gaps, bottlenecks, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop practical, data-informed recommendations to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, standardization, and sustainability.
• Develop and revise SOPs, process documentation, business requirements, reports, and executive summaries; facilitate improvement sessions with staff and stakeholders.
• Develop appropriate process measures and performance indicators to evaluate improvements.
• Support implementation, change management, and sustainment activities for approved improvements.
• Provide regular progress updates and maintain project documentation including risks and issues.

Job Title: Business Process Consultant

Duration: 12 Months Contract on W2

Direct Client Need

Hybrid- 3-4 days in office at OKC.

Timeline & Interview Process: 1 Round, In-Person, up to 60 minutes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct business process analysis through stakeholder interviews, workflow reviews, data analysis, and other appropriate assessment methods.
• Develop and maintain current state and future state process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma and quality improvement methodologies to identify process gaps, bottlenecks, redundancies, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop practical, datainformed recommendations to improve process efficiency, effectiveness, standardization, and sustainability.
• Develop and revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, business requirements, reports, executive summaries, and other written materials. Facilitate or support process improvement sessions with program staff, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders.
• Develop appropriate process measures and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
• Support implementation, change management, and sustainment activities associated with approved process improvements.
• Provide regular progress updates and maintain documentation of assigned projects, deliverables, risks, issues, and recommendations.
• Complete assigned deliverables within established timelines and incorporate OSDH feedback into final work products.
• Completes other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a business analyst.
• Professional experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, performance management, or a related field.
• Experience supporting strategic initiatives, organizational transformation, or enterprise-level improvement efforts.
• Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, process maps, SOPs, or implementation documentation.
• Lean Six Sigma, project management, change management, business analysis, or related professional training or certification is preferred.
• Nice to have experience in state government, healthcare, finance, regulatory or similar service-related business.
• Preferred master's degree in MBA or MHA.
