Job summary

OK State Agency seeks a Business Process Analyst for a 12-month contract in Oklahoma City. The role will support, analyze, and improve business processes and help plan, execute, monitor, and complete finance-related strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities include evaluating processes, conducting analyses, designing project plans, tracking KPIs, and facilitating workshops. Requires 3–5 years in business analysis and a master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a business analyst.
• Experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, performance management, or organizational transformation.
• Experience in a regulated environment preferred (state government, healthcare, finance, regulatory or similar).
• Experience developing executive reports, dashboards, process maps, or implementation documentation.

Position: Business Process Analyst

Term: 12 months

Compensation:$58/Hr - $60/Hr

Location: Hybrid- 3-4 days in office - Oklahoma City, OK

Work Authorization:ONLY USC or GC with permanent resident

Scope: The Business Process Analyst will support, analyze and improve business processes and helping plan, execute, monitor, and complete finance-related strategic initiatives. This contract position will collaborate with initiative leads, sponsors, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to maintain alignment on scope, timelines, deliverables, performance measures, and desired outcomes.

Education: Preferred master's degree in MBA or MHA

Certification: Lean Six Sigma, project management, change management, business analysis, or related professional training or certification is preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a business analyst.
• Experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, performance management, or organizational transformation.
• Professional enterprise level experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, performance management, or a related field.
• Experience working in a highly regulated environment. Preference given to experience in state government, healthcare, finance, regulatory or similar service-related business.
• Experience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, process maps, SOPs, or implementation documentation.
