Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Process Analyst/Business Analyst or similar role in enterprise tech environments.
  • Experience with infrastructure teams (server, network, cloud, storage, platform, operations).
  • Experience supporting security, risk, or compliance initiatives in technology.
  • Ability to document and improve operational processes across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong facilitation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience creating process docs, workflow diagrams, governance artifacts.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and action items.
  • Proficient with Office suite and collaboration tools (Jira, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document current-state processes for infrastructure and security initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify gaps, inefficiencies, dependencies, and risks.
  • Develop target-state process flows, SOPs, intake models, and governance routines.
  • Coordinate process improvements tied to security efforts like vulnerability remediation and patch governance.
  • Facilitate working sessions to gather requirements and validate workflows.
  • Create process maps, RACI models, requirements, and action trackers.
  • Track actions, milestones, dependencies, and risks across workstreams.
  • Support reporting and status communications to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve consistency, accountability, and adoption.
  • Assist with implementation planning for practical processes for infrastructure teams.

Role Overview

A Business Process Analyst is sought for a 9-month engagement to support infrastructure-focused security initiatives. This role will partner with infrastructure, security, engineering, operations, and program teams to analyze current processes, identify gaps, and help drive improvements that strengthen execution, governance, and operational consistency within a complex enterprise technology environment. The ideal candidate has experience in infrastructure or enterprise technology environments and understands how security initiatives affect operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and document current-state processes related to infrastructure and security initiatives.
  • Partner with infrastructure, engineering, security, and operational teams to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, dependencies, and risks.
  • Support the development of target-state process flows, standard operating procedures, intake models, and governance routines.
  • Help coordinate process improvements tied to security efforts such as vulnerability remediation, patching governance, and exception management.
  • Facilitate working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and validate workflows.
  • Develop clear documentation including process maps, RACI models, requirements, and action trackers.
  • Track action items, process milestones, dependencies, and risks across multiple workstreams.
  • Support reporting and status communication for leadership and program stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve consistency, accountability, and operational adoption.
  • Assist with implementation planning to ensure new or revised processes are practical for infrastructure teams to execute.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Process Analyst, Business Analyst, Program Analyst, or related role in enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience working with infrastructure organizations, such as server, network, cloud, storage, platform, or operations teams.
  • Experience supporting security, risk, compliance, or remediation-related initiatives in a technology environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to document and improve operational processes across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience creating process documentation, workflow diagrams, procedures, and governance artifacts.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on action items.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, ServiceNow, or SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in large, regulated enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure security concepts such as vulnerability management, patch lifecycle processes, and asset ownership.
  • Experience supporting technology transformation, governance, or control-related initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of Agile, hybrid delivery models, or structured program governance practices.
  • Ability to translate technical operational issues into process improvements and executive-ready reporting.
