UnityPoint Health – Meriter Therapy is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support clinic operations and patient experience. This role focuses on training team members, improving workflows, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced rehab setting.

With an Associate Degree in Business and at least 1 year of healthcare experience, you will help manage registration, benefits authorizations, and data reporting, while promoting operational consistency across the Rehab Therapy

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Business, Management or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience.
• Prior experience of insurance – obtaining benefits, submitting authorizations, etc.
• Excellent organizational, internal and external public relations skills.
• Knowledge of registration processes, Epic Cadence program.
• Customer service experience.

The Business Operations Specialist is responsible for enhancing and supporting business operations and overall clinic office management. This position focuses on modeling and delivering exceptional customer service, while training team members to ensure high-quality care delivery, operational efficiency, and achievement of organizational goals. Through a consistent on-site clinic presence, the Business Operations Specialist supports growth initiatives, identifies and addresses training opportunities, drives process improvement efforts, and promotes operational consistency across the Rehab Therapy Division.
