You will collect demographic and insurance data accurately, verify coverage, explain financial obligations, and route calls professionally. This role emphasizes compliance, timely workflows, and collaboration with central scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of customer service or healthcare related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collect, analyze, and record demographic, insurance, financial, and clinical data in the system, ensuring all required documentation is complete
• Maintain strong knowledge of insurance plans and verification processes
• Answer and route phone calls professionally; take accurate messages
• Educate patients on financial obligations, including point of service (POS) collections and estimates
• Assist with patient self-service registration processes.
• Monitor and manage multiple work queues to ensure timely workflow
• Refer patients who need financial assistance with their clinic/hospital bills to a Financial Advocate
• Schedule walk-in procedures and collaborate with central scheduling regarding other needs

We’re seeking a Patient Access Representative to support a smooth, accurate, and welcoming experience for patients and visitors.
