Our focus is on delivering exceptional user experiences through innovative technology, facilitating billions of dollars in transactions, and executing a robust risk management program to prevent fraud.

About The Role

As a Senior Operations Manager in the Financial Business Group, you will focus on expanding a suite of consumer financial services products, including stored value, cards, and exploring new opportunities such as loyalty programs, international money movement, and blockchain technologies. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in scaling consumer financial products from inception to market, preferably within tech-forward financial services companies or fintechs, with a strong understanding of the US and Canadian markets.

What You'll Do
  • Operationalize and scale Uber's consumer financial products, developing business cases and growth strategies for US and Canada markets.
  • Understand spender needs and market trends by engaging directly with users, translating insights into successful products.
  • Collaborate with UX research, design, product, and customer support teams to incorporate consumer feedback.
  • Manage the P&L, using your business acumen to support growth in mobility and delivery services, setting and achieving financial targets.
  • Track and improve key metrics like Active Users, ARPU, CAC, Retention, and Profitability; develop new engagement strategies.
  • Work with external partners (banks, fintechs) and internal teams (data science, legal, risk, finance) to optimize portfolio performance.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years in banking, fintech, or consulting supporting consumer growth products, with experience scaling products at large tech companies or similar scale to Uber.
  • Deep knowledge of consumer financial services, managing P&L, and understanding operational and technical capabilities of competitors, fintechs, or banks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven success in implementing growth strategies leading to measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, connecting data insights to strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, capable of translating data into compelling narratives.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships across teams, fostering collaboration and understanding diverse perspectives.
  • High standards, bias for action, and perseverance, with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data analysis.
