Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Business Operations Intern to contribute to the Services Turnaround and Customer Management transformation. The role emphasizes operational support, data management, and reporting to drive performance insights across customer programs.

The internship requires current enrollment in a full-time program, with preferred backgrounds in data analytics, SCM/logistics, business administration, or project management.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program.
• Majors: Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management / Logistics, Business Administration, Project Management, or related.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and data visualization tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a matrixed team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage data, generate reports, and improve administrative or operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to Customer Performance Directors to ensure operational consistency and high-quality reporting.
• Maintain and improve data management systems to ensure accuracy, transparency, and accessibility of key performance metrics.
• Develop and streamline reporting templates to provide leadership with actionable insights regarding customer outcomes.
• Support the development and maintenance of operational dashboards to track project health and contract performance.
• Establish and document standard operating procedures to ensure uniform execution across the organization.
• Assist in the rollout of new processes, ensuring team alignment and adherence to established standard work.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that operational processes support the overarching goals of the Customer Performance organization.
