The Winnebago Mental Health Institute (WMHI), located near Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is looking to hire a Business Office Supervisor to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm. WMHI is a part of the Department of Health Services (DHS), Division of Care and Treatment Services.

You will function as the Business Office Supervisor of a two-facility shared services business office for a Joint Commission accredited 200 bed psychiatric institution and National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) accredited 400 bed maximum security treatment facility. You will be responsible for the supervision of Business Office employees engaged in accounting, budget management, accounts payable, accounts receivable and the management of patient and residents’ personal funds for WMHI and the Wisconsin Resource Center (WRC). The starting pay is between $41.93 and $43.21 per hour (approximately between $87,200 and $89,800 per year), depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required.
Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. This position is classified as a Financial program Supervisor and is in pay schedule and range 81/03.
All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by the facility or medical personnel directed by the facility prior to their start date.
