Join Our Team as a Business Office Manager

Drive Operational Excellence in Long-Term Care

We are seeking a Business Office Manager to oversee financial and administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively in a dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism.

Your Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounts Receivable: Maintain documentation, send collection letters, follow up on past-due receivables.
  • Support Billing Operations: Handle monthly private billing, process cash deposits, verify financial info for inquiries and admissions.
  • Process Claims: Handle Medicare, MSP, Managed Care, and Insurance claims timely with weekly follow-ups.
  • Oversee Resident Trust Funds: Maintain records and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure Accurate Billing: Complete Medicare/HMO claims by the 5th, bill hospice companies promptly, manage deposits.
  • Communicate Effectively: Collaborate with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Provide Training: Ensure team members meet backup requirements for office functions.
  • Attend Meetings: Review admissions, discharges, and payer changes for smooth operations.
  • Manage Office Tasks: Oversee mail, update census and payer info, adhere to collection policies.
  • Verify Financials for Admissions: Conduct financial verification and complete paperwork efficiently.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Knowledge of accounts receivable and financial processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
  • Proficiency in computer use, typing, and 10-key operations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Attention to detail and deadline management.
  • Genuine care for elderly and disabled residents.
  • Adherence to Patient Bill of Rights, safety policies, and responsibilities.
