Business Office Manager Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Business Office Manager is to oversee business office functions, including resident business office files, payroll, accounts payable, unemployment compensation, workers' compensation, medical records, central supply, resident trust, job descriptions, and liaison with corporate billing and human resources. All duties must be performed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The manager must follow all company policies and apply them uniformly to all employees as directed by the Administrator or their designee. In this role, you are delegated the authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your duties.
