Position Summary:

The New Home Builder Operations Manager (BOM) serves as the main contact with stakeholders and builder customer teams. They act as the subject matter expert from community launch to project completion, managing production by liaising between field construction and office departments. Responsibilities include managing community and RP levels: collecting information, coordinating with sales teams, and ensuring timelines and permits are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with installation partners and builders to define scopes of work and assign alliance partners
• Manage RP object creation based on notifications and updates
• Collect lot-specific plans and assign construction dates
• Ensure design requests adhere to timelines
• Verify RP design and permits are ready before rough wire date
• Work with field managers to calibrate construction dates and ensure onsite installation
• Coordinate with installation partners and on-site managers to keep installation within build cycles
• Confirm completion of installations and track trends for efficiency improvements
• Present weekly forecasts with high accuracy
• Ensure all permits are collected before escrow
• Collaborate with teams to determine RP creation needs

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills adaptable to various stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and proactive issue management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
• NABCEP certification or photovoltaic system experience
• Design or permit experience with photovoltaic or residential electrical systems
• 3+ years in residential construction with various trades

This role may require talking, sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional travel.
