  • 1-3 years of nursing home or business office accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience in LTC billing and knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare systems required.

Experience in LTC billing including Managed Medicare, traditional Medicare and the Medicaid application process is required.

What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?

  • Making a difference in the lives of the patients we serve by providing them care and compassion.
  • Acting as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammates.
  • Overseeing transmissions of all Medicare, Medicaid, insurance, VA Billings, and private statements.
  • Acting as liaison between family members and billing agencies regarding financial assistance.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required, college is preferred.
  • One to three years nursing home or business office accounting experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare systems.
  • Experience in LTC billing including Managed Medicare, traditional Medicare and the Medicaid application process required.
  • Customer service focused and the ability to demonstrate the core values listed above is a must!
