Job Description: Business Office Manager

Meridian Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Business Office Manager to oversee the office functions within our community. Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, payroll, and maintaining resident and employee files. The role also involves providing support to the Executive Director.

Qualifications:
  • Experience as an office manager in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Two-year degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, and MS Office required.
  • Experience with PCC or similar accounting software preferred.
  • Strong mathematical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the public.
  • Compassionate and interested in working with the elderly.
  • Ability to work responsibly both independently and as part of a team.
  • Honest, dependable, respectful of confidentiality, and committed to Meridian's policies and values.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.
