Business Office Manager (Administrative)

Are you a dedicated Business Office Manager looking to join our accounts receivables team? The Lingenfelter Center (TLC), established in 2006, is a top-rated care facility specializing in Alzheimer's/Dementia care, recognized multiple times as one of America's top 100 nursing homes.

We are seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to oversee our Accounts Receivable team. Ideal candidates will have experience with billing systems, medical terminology, and navigating insurance providers like Medicare and Medicaid. Experience in a medical office setting is also valuable.

Job Summary

This role involves managing invoicing, reconciliation, medical billing, data entry, and collections. You will be responsible for submitting claims, managing resident bills, and ensuring efficient collection processes. We foster a compassionate, team-oriented environment focused on resident care and staff development.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Manage billing processes, invoicing, and account reconciliation.
  2. Create and send billing invoices accurately and promptly.
  3. Serve as a resource for billing inquiries from residents and their families.
  4. Collect payments and allocate them appropriately.
  5. Maintain accurate and organized records through data entry.
  6. Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  7. Ensure compliance with Federal and State Long Term Care regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Computer proficiency
  • Knowledge of billing systems, medical terminology, and insurance providers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • CPR certification, AZ DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card, and tuberculosis test (must obtain and maintain)
  • Physical activities involving movement; ability to sit for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule

This is a full-time position operating 24/7, primarily during daytime hours, Monday through Friday. Flexibility for occasional evenings, holidays, and weekends is required.
