Sapphire Health Services is seeking a self-driven Business Office Manager to maintain and oversee the day-to-day accounting functions of our Community Based Care facility. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, communication skills, and proficient knowledge of computers. Sapphire will provide the training and guidance to ensure you are confident in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Involved in the admission process of new residents by verifying payer source and resident insurance.
- Enter and maintain account data on the accounting computer system.
- Monitor each account’s status and take action on unpaid items.
- Perform month-end closing procedures.
- Maintain routine billing processes.
- Provide prompt customer service to residents and their families regarding financial inquiries.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous Business Office experience (SNF/ALF preferred)
- Knowledge of Assisted Living/Memory Care billing
